Job - Executive Director

     

Avalon Recovery Society has supported women seeking recovery from addiction and substance abuse for over 20 years,at centres in Vancouver and on the North Shore, and is opening a new centre in 2012 in White Rock.

The executive director will be responsible for creating and implementing a strategic appproach to fundraising,and supporting delivery of programs at these centres. In addition the ED will be involved with program planning, and operational, financial and human resources management.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelors degree, and management and fundraising experience. Experience in financial planning and reporting, and demonstrated balanced budget success with tight resources are required. We are seeking a strong advocate for women recovering from addiction, who will inspire those providing direct service to our clients and their communities.
