Fundraising Gala - keynote speaker Stephen Lewis

     

The Howe Sound Women's Centre is thrilled to have Stephen Lewis as the keynote speaker for the evening. He is not only a phenomenal speaker and humanitarian but was named "one of the world's most powerful feminists" by Forbes Magazine in 2010.

Joining him will be Katrina Pacey -- a Vancouver based lawyer who works with Pivot Legal Society. The focus of her work is with women on the Downtown Eastside as well as working closely with First Nation women in our Province. Katrina has won numerous awards for her social justice work and is a passionate and knowledgeable speaker.
