Having struggled with addiction for many years, Donovan relapsed on April 14, throwing away more than four years clean and sober, as well as budding comedy career. With the help of the staff at InSite and the OnSite Detox and Recovery program, got his life back and returned to the mic, cracking up audiences and gathering accolades. To show his appreciation and contribute to the work that made his recovery possible, he's hosting this fundraiser for OnSite.

Reflecting on his long journey into addiction and back, Donovan says harm reduction services were instrumental forces in his recovery: "I used InSite daily, upward of 10 times a day for 5 months. During that period I lost pretty much everything. I ended up homeless. I had multiple overdoses within a five-month period." His addiction came close to killing him on many occasions, he says, but now he's back on stage.
