Dr.A. R. Lord Alumni Association

Within the last eight months, D.A.R.L.A.A. has hosted and organized five successful events, which has helped raise approximately $5,000 to date. Thus far, some of the donations have gone to school supplies and sport equipments for the Dr. A. R. Lord Elementary School. In addition, the organization has also set up a $500 scholarship to be awarded every year to a graduating Grade 12 from Templeton Secondary School.

The secondary mandate of the Dr. A. R. Lord Alumni Association seeks to empower young adults within the community. This aspect was particularly prominent in our Pray for Japan campaign which sought to promote global awareness of the tragic events that recently happened in Japan.

In light of this, our events seek to provide the opportunity to gather and connect with the community and to give back to others. The Dr. A. R. Lord Alumni Association strives to make a strong difference within our community in hopes of successfully promoting a high standard of community involvement by empowering youth.
