Mitch and Murray Productions Online Fundraiser

     

Mitch and Murray Productions is staging a fall production of Michael Weller's "Fifty Words" (we're the gang that produced Neil Labute's "Fat Pig", a multiple Jessie Award nominee). We've recently started an online fundraising campaign and have already raised $475 in our first two weeks on the site Indie Go Go.

If you read up on us, you'll see that we've got a very specific mandate and are not just putting out our hands for donations, but rather we're interested in making the arts community and our potential audiences engaged and involved in our activities.

This is a company that produces character-driven contemporary plays from writers like Labute, David Mamet, Adam Rapp, etc (the material actors love to tackle in scene study classes but we rarely see professionally produced on Vancouver stages!) We are a professional company that has the opportunity to grow and our mandate is to strengthen the local theatre scene - producing theatre that pays artists their full value and engages a young and savvy urban audience.
