Western Canada Wilderness Committee
The Western Canada Wilderness Committee is passionate about saving wilderness and wildlife.
They are currently fighting to save the wild rivers of Bute Inlet and the B.C. Wild Salmon.
Across the country, the Wilderness Committee has more than 30,000 members and an additional support base of 30,000 donors.
They maintain offices in four provinces and an on-the-ground presence in many Canadian communities.
It is the combined voices of thousands of supporters, in partnership with their dedicated board, staff, and volunteers that has allowed the Wilderness Committee to campaign successfully to protect millions of hectares of Canadian wilderness in over 40 key wilderness areas.
The Wilderness Committee is a citizen-funded charitable organization.
